Rabbi Zev Schostak

Prior to founding Legacy 613, Rabbi Schostak served as Director of Pastoral Care at the Gurwin Jewish Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Commack, Long Island for nearly 30 years. He has also been engaged in Jewish education and had a distinguished career as a teacher and principal at yeshiva elementary and high schools.

Ordained in Jerusalem by Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna, Rosh Yeshiva of Hevron, and Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, he also holds an MA from the University of Detroit. Rabbi Schostak has authored two books, A Guide to Jewish Family Laws with the approbation of Rav Moshe Feinstein zt”l and a Haggadah, Why is This Night Different. His forthcoming book is entitled Speaking to God - A Personal Guide to Making Prayer Meaningful

Rabbi Yaakov Glasser

Rabbi Yaakov Glasser is the David Mitzner Dean of the Center for the Jewish Future and University Life at Yeshiva University and the Rabbi of Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton. In this capacity, he oversees the placement and continuing education of pulpit rabbis across North America. In addition, Rabbi Glasser supervises the communal programing of Yeshiva University and RIETS, including Yutorah.org, the Holiday to Go series, and numerous other programs and initiatives. Rabbi Glasser comes to Yeshiva with a rich background in Jewish communal and organizational life, and held positions such as the Regional Director of New Jersey NCSY and the NCSY International Director of Education.

In these capacities, Rabbi Glasser worked extensively with communities and schools across North America to create programs and implement educational curricula that inspire Jewish teens from across the spectrum of affiliation. Rabbi Glasser also serves as the Rav of the Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton. Under his leadership, the congregation has grown dramatically, and prides itself on the ideological and demographic diversity of its membership.

Rabbi Glasser is renowned for combining humor, scholarship and an upbeat message into his teaching. Rabbi Glasser lives with his wife, Dr. Ruth Glasser, and four children in Passaic, NJ.

Rabbi Menachem Penner

Rabbi Menachem Penner is the Max and Marion Grill Dean of Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University where he has the privilege to inspire and train the rabbis of tomorrow. Rabbi Penner served as the spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Holliswood in Queens for 20 years and is now the Rabbi Emeritus. He continues to teach, focusing on Tanach, Tefillah and Machshavah, in Queens and in communities worldwide. The parent of a superstar with special needs, he also speaks across the country on issues of families facing disabilities. Rabbi Penner received his semikhah from RIETS and his BA from Yeshiva College and is proud to serve the institution from which he received his formative education.

Rabbi Mark Wildes

Rabbi Mark Wildes was ordained from Yeshiva University, but before becoming a rabbi, he received a JD from the Cardozo School of Law and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. Since founding Manhattan Jewish Experience 20 years ago, Rabbi Wildes has become one of America’s most inspirational and dynamic Jewish educators. He lives with his wife Jill and their children Yosef, Ezra, Judah and Avigayil on the Upper West Side where they maintain a warm and welcoming home for all. He is a hard core Beatles and John Lennon fan, and enjoys rocking out on the drums whenever possible.

Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Weinberg

Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Weinberg currently teaches in Yeshiva University’s Irving I. Stone Beit Midrash Program (SBMP), where he also he serves as Mashgiach Ruchani. A graduate of Yeshiva University, Rabbi Weinberg received his semicha from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg of Jerusalem and has also been certified by the Center for Integrated Teacher Education. Rabbi Weinberg has worked as a Jewish educator for the past 13 years, and has previously taught at Torah Academy of Bergen County and the Moriah School of Englewood, before joining the Yeshiva University faculty five years ago. He has served as a guest speaker and scholar in residence in Jewish communities and college campuses across the country. Additionally, Rabbi Weinberg offers a variety of weekly inspirational shiurim in the Teaneck and Bergenfield area of New Jersey, where he lives with his family. More than 900 of his recorded shiurim appear on Yutorah.org.

Rabbi Daniel Kraus

Rabbi Daniel Kraus is the Director of Community Education at Kehilath Jeshurun (KJ). Daniel is a native of Melbourne, Australia, and graduated from Yeshiva University with a B.S. and MBA. He completed the Ner LeElef Fellowship at RIETS, and received his ordination from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg of Jerusalem. Prior to KJ, Daniel served as the inaugural Director of the Manhattan Jewish Experience (MJE) Downtown location where, together with his wife Rachel, spearheaded the creation of a vibrant community of young Jewish professionals and created a hub of Jewish engagement in Midtown Manhattan for over 7,000 participants. Daniel also served as MJE’s Chief Operating Officer. Outside of KJ, Daniel is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Birthright Israel Foundation, where he leads strategic alliances for the Foundation and manages the post-trip engagement strategy for Birthright alumni and Institutional Giving.

Rachel Kraus

Rachel  joins her husband as a Director of Community Education at Kehilath Jeshurun, where she lectures, delivers sermons, teaches and facilitates educational programming. Rachel was featured among the  2017 Jewish Week’s 36 Under 36 list of emerging Jewish leaders.

Beyond  her work with Kehilath Jeshurun, Rachel is a brand strategy executive leader, consulting for major brands across all industry sectors.  

Rachel  completed her B.S. from Stern College and her MBA at NYU with a concentration in finance, entertainment, media and technology. Rabbi Daniel and Rachel live in Manhattan with their four children.

Rabbi Mordechai Torczyner

Rabbi Mordechai Torczyner has been the Rosh Beit Midrash of Beit Midrash Zichron Dov in Toronto, a kollel and community resource affiliated with Yeshiva University and Torah MiTzion, since 2009. The Beit Midrash unites Jews of all affiliations and all levels of background knowledge in Torah study. Before that, Rabbi Torczyner served in the synagogue rabbinate for twelve years. In both roles, Rabbi Torczyner has emphasized tefillah; some of his classes on prayer are available on yutorah.org.
